TRUCKING JOBS ARE BEING HIT HARD

More than 20 million people have lost their job during this whole Coronavirus pandemic. And out of those 20 million people, 88,000 of them have been in the trucking industry. The closest the transportation industy has ever come to these type of numbers was back in 1994 when teamsters went on strike against 22 trucking companies. 

Whatever your thoughts are about the Coronavirus, it has made an impact on not just the trucking industry, but pretty much every industry out there. The only sector of the trucking industy that seems to be positivly impacted by the Coronavirus is the delivery side. With everyone stuck at home, we’re all just ordering stuff online and having it shipped directly to us. Speaking of, I wonder if my new jeans are here yet…..
